PingMe: Social Disovery app for iPhone and iPad

Have you ever found yourself trying to discover something new in your neighborhood? Have you moved to a new city and are just trying to break into the local social scene? Do you just want to get out and explore a different hobby? Let PingMe help you with that.

We help users connect on a local level using their common interests through the use of a Broadcast and the Ping. The user creates an event with interest tags and Broadcasts it out to other users within a one mile radius. Other users receive Ping - a notification that an event is taking place near them that they may be interested in.

Our goal is to create a network of users and businesses who come together to discover something new they may have never done before. We want to help people meet the friends they never knew they had.

Please note continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
